Alexia (she/her)

During her time as a high school debater, Alexia competed at Anatolia College in Thessaloniki, Greece, and represented Team Greece at WSDC 2024. In her senior year of high school, Alexia championed in the Oratory category of Greece’s annual speech and debate tournament, the Panhellenic Forensics Association tournament. In her debate journey, Alexia won EuroSDCA and ranked in the top 10 speakers across Europe in 2024. Later that year, Alexia also ranked in the top 10 speakers globally at WSDC, where she and Team Greece also made the top four teams globally. In the fall of 2024, Alexia joined Northwestern University’s Parliamentary Debate Union, where she is the Vice President of Training. She competes in British Parliamentary tournaments with her partner and dear friend, Artemis Papastavrou. At the same time, Alexia has been coaching Team Greece B, Greece’s pre-national WSDC team. At Space City Camp, Alexia strives to make debate as accessible as possible for all, and hopes to “spread the speech and debate bug” to students as Alexia’s mentors once did for her.
