Space City Camp has big plans for the next year. But we can’t do it alone. If you’re interested in giving back to the Speech and Debate community in a meaningful way, consider taking a leadership role within our organization.

Leadership Positions

  • Space City Camp is seeking a detail-oriented Communications Intern to support our equity-focused speech & debate programming. Responsibilities include managing email communications, creating and organizing forms, maintaining spreadsheets, and proofreading materials. This role is ideal for a high school or college student interested in education, nonprofit work, or advocacy. Part-time, flexible week-to-week hours. $17.5/hour with academic credit available.

  • As Social Media Manager, you’ll collaborate with the Board of Directors to create content for our Instagram and Facebook, manage DMs, and oversee our social media presence. If you're tech-savvy, have an eye for design, and are passionate about our cause, this role is for you.

  • Camp coordinators help organize our annual summer camps, with responsibilities increasing during the summer. Tasks include volunteer outreach, student outreach, and logistical planning. You'll collaborate closely with our experienced Board of Directors, so don’t hesitate to apply!

    Pay: $500 stipend

  • As Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement, you'll be a key leader, responsible for strategically driving donation campaigns and managing the funds raised.

  • Space City Camp is launching a new project and seeking content developers to create asynchronous lesson plans. These plans will consist of lectures designed to help students transition into new events, offered as free courses on our website. As a content developer, you'll plan and record lectures on a topic of your choice.
